About Rowan Equestrian

The Rowan University Equestrian Team is a university affiliated club sports team that competes in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, also known as IHSA. 

 

This team is for beginner and advanced english riders who are interested in competing in the fall and spring through IHSA shows. IHSA provides collegiate college riders the opportunity to compete individually and as team in equestrian competition against other colleges in their zone.

 

Note: You do not need to own or lease a horse to compete. You do not need horse experience to join.

About IHSA

Rowan is ZONE 3 REGION 2. The  Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, or IHSA, provides collegiate riders of all skills the opportunity to compete individually and as teams in equestrian competition.  It was founded on the principle that any college student should be able to participate in horse shows regardless of his or her riding ability or financial status.
